AMAZING VENUE!!!!!

We JUST came back last weekend from a friends wedding in the Fingerlakes and the place we were at was AMAZING beyond anything!
Its called the Fountainebleau Inn
I think its http://www.fontainebleauinn.com/
The views are breathtaking and the ceremony was by the water and reception in the Inn;
this AMAZING place is AMAZING;
I have nothing but good things to say - if your looking for a non traditional outdoor indoor wedding and ceremony site this is THE place!!!

    This is actually where I had my wedding last summer. It's a fabulous spot!

    The woman who runs it is really controlling and overbearing. She doesn't let you do anything that goes against how she likes to do things. The place is gorgeous but they need someone else running it.

    Chrissy, sorry you had a bad experience. I thought Terry was wonderful to work with personally, I met with her numerous times and she was willing to try anything I suggested. She and her husband own the inn, so there will be on change in who runs it. She isn't the most warm person initially, but we had a great time with her through the planning process and actual wedding and I thought she went above and beyond for our wedding day.

    I do not know what is wrong with you - first you call me a vendor troll when I am not and I take that as a insult and inappropriate and second you put down this amazing venue which is amazing - the woman you refer to that runs the place is NOT controlling and in actual fact it is the HUSBAND who runs the venue and does most of the coordination - how would YOU know about this venue anyway?
    I am beginning to think you are a vendor troll looking at you posts - you seem yo be putting people down and places a lot!

    Um, hello? You are sooo obviously a vendor. You can't even keep straight what you supposedly paid your DJ.  Here you paid $1500:

    [QUOTE]any dj below $1000 will be bad guaranteed we paid about $1500 and wuld have paid double for the job he did - he was incredible

    and here you only paid $1000:

    [QUOTE]Hi We thought of cutting on cost for a dj but found out that the cheap ones are the worst and not a good deal by any means; We paid around $1000 for our DJ and it was well worth it as he made the party and was so professional. I would suggest you interview DJs like we did first before deciding on cost as the DJ really makes or breaks the entire reception which we found out as we had been to weddings before and seen DJs who were terrible - we found out from research that those bad ones were always the cheap ones

    That's not a small difference. You were supposedly married in December of 2009 and you can't remember if your DJ was $1000 or $1500?

    Oh, and did I mention these two conflicting posts were made THE SAME DAY, within 15 minutes of each other.

    Listen I said I paid around $1000 in one post and another I said I paid around $1500...AROUND...I cannot remember the exact figure - it was somewhere around the two...YOU however keep putting people and venues DOWN like you seem to know everything - I am a CATERER and know the biz well - please stop your rude and irritating posts trying to cause some kind of rift and confrontation on these baords!
