Upstate NY wedding venue! HELP!

I'm on a search for a wedding venue upstate NY, doesn't matter where...I'm from Long Island and will be brining all my guests with me. Preferably we'd love a barn or lake side camp with amazing food! I feel like i've been searching for 2 months and can't find anything that isn't a million dollars or the food is crappy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of a place that also has rooms to stay in after the party I would love that even more. Thanks Ladies!

Check out the historic barns at nipmoose or pruyn house- both are on this site!

Check out Pat's Barn in Troy/Rensselaer.  The barn is lovely and I believe there are accomodation in a separte building accross the lot (walking distance). Prices are reasonable as well.

Also, Lake House by Old Daley in on Crooked Lake is very pretty. I'm not sure of pricing, but they are supposed to have gresat food.

Waters Edge Lighthouse worked with our budget- quoted $5,000 for 100 people!!!  Included appetizers, 3 meal selections, etc and its on the Mohawk River!!!  GORGEOUS facility- only 4 years old (the banquet hall)..it's seperate from the restaurant and Inn they have....it's across the parking lot...only thing is- I think they only have like 6 rooms or something like that...small but very cute and again, on the water!!

Ps- sorry...our wedding was supposed to be in June 2013 but we moved it up to Jan..so not sure if we are still having it there or not...but we are in love with it!

Casalarga is on a huge winery.  There is also Sonnonberg gardens in Canandaguia, NY. Both are popular around Rochester.

I'm assuming you booked a venue as of now.. just curious, what did you go with?
