Ceremony and reception musicians

Hey! I am getting married at Belhurst this December and I was wondering if someone had any recommendations for a string trio/quartet for the ceremony and a jazz quartet or something bluesy for the reception.  I am not from the area so I am having a bit of a hard time.TIA!Cat

    hi...this is a little late. Hope you still get the reply. In my packet for my ceremony (which will be in Albany) was a list of musicians that play around the area. One was the All Season's Trio. I'm not sure how far they travel, but they are professional musicians, so I'm assuming they'll go all over NY State. I inquired about my own wedding and found that they are pretty expensive, but you can get a duo for cheaper. They play both ceremonies and cocktail hours and I believe they have some packages. I wanted them for ceremony only. Their music on the website is beautiful and i'm rationalizing the cost, but they are worth checking into. They might have recs for jazz ensembles too.     We got married a Belhurst too!  We had Limestone Quartet out of Syracuse, NY.  They were wonderful (from what I can remember!) and the price was right in our budget.   GL
