Advice for Hall of Springs bride?

Hi! FI and I finally decided to have our reception at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs (10-08-10) and we are meeting with them next week. We are planning the wedding from Connecticut, so our trips to Saratoga will not be as frequent as I would like. Any advice/suggestions on the Hall of Springs and other vendors in that area? thanks!

    5/29 Buffalo Marathon (5:25 - not pretty, just trying not to get heatstroke!)
    9/25 Adirondack Marathon (take 2!)
    One of these days I'll have a good marathon!

    Congrats on picking such a beautiful location! We also live in CT and will be getting married at Glen Sanders in less than 3 weeks! We looked at Hall of Springs also and went back and forth between it and GS! As far as vendors, what are you looking for: band or dj? makeup on location at the hotel or not, etc. We have an amazing florist, Linda of FlowersForever by Linda- let me know if you want more information, photos will be posted asap after the wedding! Have you found out if there are any concerts or other events at SPAC slated for 10/08/10?

    Hi!  I was a May 09 Saratoga Bride...we used Mansion Catering at the Casino...and you certainly won't be disapointed! :)  I can highly recommend our Photographer (Images by Moak), Florist (Sunflowers) and DJ (Vinny from Cool Cat!)   They did a terrific job!  If you want some pics (I'm awful with bio stuff!)     Yeah! We just had our reception there in May!  Kevin and his team are awesome.  You will feel like royalty when you work with them and on your wedding day.  When you meet with them they will give you a packet with some recommended vendors.  That is a good place to start as well.  We used Flethousen's in Niskyuna and they did an awesome job!  And don't worry about planning from out of town. Kevin and his staff are always available to answer every (and I mean every) question you have!  Oh and my advice, don't stress, let Kevin and his staff take care of everything.  They are professionals at this so you have nothing to worry about.  Sit back relax and enjoy!

    My FI and I just had our tasking there this weekend and it was amazing!!! They accomidated us on the weekend since we live in Virginia now and can't just go up at any time. He was very helpful going over everything and the food was awesome. We just cant wait till october :-) I will try to post vender reviews after the fact but if you do have any questions i can answer them at erika_ratajczak@yahoo.com~Erika
