Trouble finding Classic Car

We wanted to be driven from chapel (Colgate) to reception (in Greece) in a classic car, something late '50's or older. Had a family friend lined up, but that fell through. I found a place that I thought (because it was posted on their site) had a 1957 Chevy stretch limo, called them, they don't have it anymore. I tried Park Place limo because they advertise having a 1950 and a 1960 Rolls Royce, they must not need business because they never called me back. I also tried contacting the Street Machines of Rochester club and posting on Craigslist, to no avail. We really don't want a limo, so if I don't find someone with a nice classic car to drive us, we'll just be using our truck... It's a nice truck, but we wanted something special for that day. We are willing to pay whoever does it and they are welcome to stay at the reception. Does anyone have any other suggestions or know anyone that might be able to help? Thanks!

Have you considered going to a car show or something? Perhaps someone there might be willing to drive you from the chapel to the reception (not sure if they would let you drive or not). It might be a way to get one.

this may or may not be very helpul, but Timkey Limo in Lockport, NY (about and hour and a half west of Greece) has a 1940's black landmaster limo (doesn't look like a limo).  Good luck! http://timkeylimo.com/

Yes the car show idea is exactly it- Especially since now it's the summer time--they are out and at fairs too. My FI and I live in the Albany Area and have gone to only one but it was in Lebanon Valley Race area---we found the car we want--you can usually find the owners there and talk with them andmake them an offer. Usually they are just happy to be part of your day (as sometimes its a great way to show off their goods too :oP ) Good luck! )
