Flower Girl Safety

Hey ladies! How's the planninn going?? Swimmingly I hope. I have a question about my flower girl. She's our daughter and she will be precisly two and a half when we tie the knot next year. I know NY law states that she needs to sit in a car seat in a moving vehicle---does this include Limo rides as well?? We are actually using an older model car instead of a limo, but since it's older make and model, I don't know that it can accomodate the updated carseat needed for her safety. Anyone out there have any useful nuggets on how to combat THIS issue???Many thanks in advance....

I'd imagine it'd include limos. You could call your local police station to double check, but I'd be surprised if it was okay. And if it is okay, is that really a risk worth taking? You could also check with your limo company to make sure the car seat fits safely and legally.

Is anyone following you in a modern car?  It might be worth having parents/grandparents/aunt or uncle having her so she's safe if the car can't accommodate her seat.
