Rehearsal Dinner Sites in Lake George

Does anyone know of a nice place to have a rehearsal dinner in Lake George? Our wedding is next September and we're trying to find a location for the rehearsal dinner. Thanks!

The boats on the lake are popular for dinner cruises. We also love eating at the Docksider on Glen Lake (about 10 minutes from Lake George). They have a great deck and it's gorgeous. More relaxed, casual atmosphere.

There's a lot of good restaurants all up and down the lake.  We are having ours at Frederick's in Bolton Landing. The Docksider is nice, but as a former waitstaff member of three summers, I would recommend not having a large party there.  The kitchen is too small and things are SLOW.

5/29 Buffalo Marathon (5:25 - not pretty, just trying not to get heatstroke!)
    9/25 Adirondack Marathon (take 2!)
One of these days I'll have a good marathon!

We're hoping to have ours on one of the boats, either the Adirondac or the Lac du San Sacrement depending on numbers.

Our wedding site does Rehearsal Dinners, it's called The Farmhouse Restauarant at Top of The World Golf Resort http://www.topoftheworldgolfresort.com/dining.aspThey do really local foods and I've heard great things (Tasting is in October 2009) the cost is $35/person and includes bread, salad, entree, coffee, tea, dessert, linens, use of garden area for cocktails...but they seem to be good about accomodating what you want. My MOH had hers at The Boathouse Restaurant: http://www.cresthavenlodges.com/boathouse.aspI want to say the price was like $27.95 and the food was really great, gorgeous place!!

The Boathouse Restaurant is really nice.  And gorgeous views. We tried the Adirondack Pub & Brewery and were a little put off by them.  They were not encouraging at all and seemed to have some major issues with having a group on a Friday night in the summer.  Perhaps they would be more open to it during the off season?
