Does anyone know of a good DJ in the capital region/lake george area? I'm having trouble finding one. Thanks!

Jazzy, We are using Dave Cannon and Elite Sounds Entertainment. He is out of Hudson Falls, I think. I know he has done wedding in LG before (and we chose him partly because he had done them at our venue, too) and I have been very impressed so far with his prompt attention, reasonable rates, and the communication i had with the references i checked. We obviously have not used him yet, but I have every reason to believe that he will be great. I particularly like the way that you can choose playlists and songs online through his database, and his willingness to get music or use music that we provide. If you contact him, feel free to let him know you got his name from me. Before booking him I looked into PeakDJ which is located in Vermont, but travels to places like Lake George. They, too, were attentive and accomplished, and had gotten very good feedback. But their travel fee to LG was considerable, and the price was also generally higher. They are also a team, and I preferred to work with the same person (who would also be the actual DJ) during the entire process instead of a larger group. That's my 2 cents. Good luck! I hope other people have other ideas, too, as I would love to hear them also. Lynnie Best, Lynnie

We are also using Dave Cannon, but I had also checked with Andy Pratt (who did 3 of my friends weddings)! There are a couple others that I can dig up if you'd like! Good luck!
