Photographer in Syracuse??

Im getting married Sept 10, 2011 so I know its a ways away, but its also turned out to be a popular date so Im trying to get the big stuff planned well ahead of time. I need ideas for a photographer/videographer in Syracuse that are good and yet reasonable in price. Any ideas??My sister has a friend who takes beautiful pictures and loves photography, but has never done weddings, so I dont know that I should chance it...plus Im a little scared hed get wrapped up in talking to my sister...OPINIONS?!?!

    I have heard through another knottie that Crystal Herry is very good. I am curretnly in talks with her to do my wedding next october. She comes highly recommended, might be worth getting in touch! Google her name and her site will come up.

    I am using Tom Hannig we just got our engagement pictures and they are beautiful! I would definitely recommend him.

    I had Renee Marquis photograph our wedding. . .She does amazing work, has awesome prices, and is extremely personable.  Check out her blog and site: http://www.reneemarquisphotography.com/?intro=0She's even making a photo album for my aunt(they met up last week, on whim, when my Aunt asked about photos).

    I'm using Ed Guarente and LOVE his work and Price. Engagement photos, bridal portraits and parent albums were included in his price.

    I'm getting married May 22, 2010.  I booked Mike Fragola, "Fragola's Photography" out of East Syracuse and he's great.  So friendly, great pictures, awesome deal.  I even get a bridal or engagement shoot, 3 photographers the day of the wedding and a makeup artist for the bridal shoot and wedding day. I'm the same as you...I planned all the big stuff within 2-3 months of getting engaged.

    I third Crystal Herry and her associate Stacy Peffley.  Both amazing to work with.  Stacy took my engagement photos and they were beautiful.......Crystal has a really gerat personality to go with her great photography too!
