Golds Gym

Has anyone attended any of their group classes? If so, which one and did you like it? Im looking to start and try some out, but not sure what wouldn't be too intense for a beginner at fitness! Thanks.

Also, I'll be at the one in Guilderland, if that makes a difference! :)

I actually work for Golds Gym as a fitness instructor (down in the Hudson Valley) but we have the same classes as Guilderland. I teach Body Combat and Body Jam. All of the classes can be adapted to every level. I would highly recommend Body Pump. It is the group weight lifting class that tones every muscle in your body. You can start off with very light weights and add as you get stronger. I would also recommend Body Combat, not just because I teach it, but because it is a great work out. You have to take the class a few times to learn the moves, but once you learn the basics it's a blast and you leave drenched! Body Jam is also great! It's a big dance party! But again, it takes a few classes to really learn the moves. You can't just take one class and decide you don't like it. I'm not sure  about your club, but at my gyms we turn down the lights so it gives it a night club feel.  RPM, the biking class is also a great workout, however I would recommend buying a gel seat cover. You can pick one up at Walmart or Target for like 10 bucks and it's totally worth it! It makes the ride so much better on your behind! If you have any questions I'd be glad to help! Good luck with the classes!
