Anyone use a wedding planner?

Does anyone have a wedding planner? If so PLEASE help me by giving me advice on a good one! I hear it helps save you money. Thanks in advance.

I am not experienced in working with a wedding planner. But i would say it is a good idea to do the planning with them. I say this becuase my friend had her wedding with a wedding planning company Le jardin and they provided mst of the services including catering, venue decor, Dj and ll. Would you tell what location you prefer, so that i can suggest you one?

It might be a good idea to ask this on your local board.

I didn't use a planner, but then again, I don't know how va-va-voom your wedding is going to be. I just planned everything out and did all the research myself and it came to less than $5000 for the whole event! Now THAT'S cause for celebration!

I am currently using a planner and she is a lot of help! She has advice on venders, decor etc.. and how to do it with a budget. If your in the Chicagoland area this is her info...
