Saratoga florist: suggestions & how to choose...

Hi all! Any suggestions for a budget-friendly florist in the Saratoga area? I've seen a lot of hype on this board for Clifton Park Price Chopper, but are there others I should be considering? Has anyone used any of the other Price Choppers in the area?

Also, how do I compare florists and their prices without knowing exactly what flowers I want? I know I need to book one soon - my wedding is 6 months away - but I am florally challenged and will need guidance to actually choose flower types. And if you don't mind sharing, what is a "cheap" or "reasonable" price for flowers?

Thanks!!

    Many florists in the capital region area will do flowers for a wedding in Saratoga.  We used Felthousen's in Niskyuna for our Saratoga reception.

    As for how to choose.  The best way is to meet with each florist.  They should provide you with an estimate before you leave based on your consultation.  I chose my florist by how well they captured my vision at a reasonable price.

    As for typical cost of flowers this depends on what you need, as in # of bouquets, # of table arrangments etc.  The least expensive flowers tend to be those in season during your wedding.  Mine was in spring so we used a ton of tulips!  I have listed below a general estimate of the cost of my flowers.  It is slightly on the higher side of the spectrum, but they were absolutely beautiful and worth every penny that was spent. HTH!
    Bridal Bouquet= $150
    BM Bouquet= $75
    Boutinere= $12
    Reception table arrangments (Floral arrangement and candles)= $100
