I recieved a call from them stating that I won something from their booth at a recent bridal fair. I called them, where they went on to explain all of the different things that I had one. This included a 4day/3night all inclusive trip, discounts, coupons, and a knife. I was excited until I started to look into it. I first didnt remember talking to them, so I called the bridal expo and they said that the company did not have a booth at the fair I was at. Weird.  I continued to do my research and found that most people think its a scam but never followed through with the actual cooking show to know for sure it was a scam. I was wondering if anyone actually attended the cooking show and/or had redeemed their vacation stay. Please let me know. I have tried to call them back to ask them but I keep getting forward to their voicemail.

I think they were at a bridal expo I went to.  I didn't submit information at their booth, but they called me anyway.  Same deal with the trip and a knife, etc.  I think you have to sit through a sales pitch.  I declined.

IT'S A SCAM!!!!!!!!

I attended a wedding show in Sonoma County, CA. The expo was giving away vacations, so when I got a call later that evening saying that I had won an all expenses paid trip to Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic or Mexico, I was thrilled! BUT then they said I had to go to a cooking show, which made me skeptical. I figured, well, it's just an hour of my time and I MIGHT be able to get a free vacation out of it- nothing to lose! So my mom and I just got back from sitting through their 90 min presentation. The salesman is friendly and funny; they definitely know what they're doing. At the end of the show, they give you a flyer with the travel info. You have to mail it in within a year of going to the cooking show and request dates (they said there would be blackout dates like weekends and holidays). I left the cooking demonstration still feeling uneasy. You have to pay for shipping and handling for everything. After looking into it some more online, I found out that they have you pay a deposit (about $50) that is supposed to get refunded back to you when you leave the resort. However it sounds like many people aren't even getting to the resort! 

The link on their website says they do their travel reservations through "Simplicity Life Travel." If you go to their website, there's no phone number, only a e-mail address. If you check out their reviews on the Better Business Bureau website (http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-reviews/incentive-programs/grand-incentives-in-sarasota-fl-90017298) you'll see that they're NOT accredited and that they have nearly 400 complaints filed against them! You can read the reviews; some people have lost their money, others have lost their honeymoons! 

So terrible to rip off young newlyweds! Of course we'd all LOVE to win a honeymoon, but be sure to do your homework and make sure any giveaways you win are legitimate!
