Chair Rentals - Anyone know where to get chairs on the cheap?

Hi!

We're holding our reception at the Canfield Casino in July... and they don't have chairs.  Well, let me correct myself, they have chairs but their hideous and they charge for them.  I've called a few places that seem to rent chairs and they charge 7.50 for the Chivari and 3.00 for white folding chairs.  Am I crazy or is this redic.??? Are chairs really going to be this much of an issue? Does anyone know where I can find decent chairs for less?  That aren't folding?

Thanks!

Yeah... that is how much chairs are to rent. Most people use Clifton Park Rental or Total Events but they are going to be the same price you stated above.

Call Allerdice rental.. They have gold chiavaris for $5.  Apparently they aren't in top condition (paint chipped a little) but cushions are good.  I'm checking them out this weekend.  I think will dim lighting they will be fine.  Another option is doing a share with the other bride that weekend.  Ask Betty about it.

The casino chairs- both the included and "upgraded"- are a shame to that beautiful venue.

Oh I like the share idea.  Has anyone done that? I really don't understand why they don't provide proper chairs for such a pretty space.

    Thanks everyone!

I haven't done the share idea but I plan on doing it if the other bride that weekend wants to.  I looked at the $5 chairs from allerdice and I'm going to use them.  They are chipped a bit but not enough to notice in photos.

The casino doesn't have the storage space to have chiavaris and the maintenance on them is very costly.
