help! bachelorette party in Lake Placid?

I am looking for ideas of what to do in august for a bachelorette party in Lake Placid! I am not familiar with the area!

    I have been thinking about a Bachelorette Party in Lake Placid too.  Some ideas I came up with is creating jewelry at 'Just Bead It' and a lunch at a fairly local tea shop.  There is also a phenomenal spa at Mirror Lake Inn but it can be expensive for a Bachelorette Party. The bar on the lake associated with Mirror Lake Inn is rustic and fun.  I forget the name of the bar.  There is one in the Inn but this one is across the street.
