Cincy Bride coming to Nashville for Bachelorette Weekend

Hey fellow TN knotties~

With all my BM's out of state, I've decided I want us to gather in Nashville for my Bachelorette Weekend.  Can anyone give me good suggestions on where to stay (I think we'd like to be downtown?  Is that a happening place?), what to do/see, etc.  I'd like to be walking distance to most things if that's possible.

I visited Nville a few years ago and we went out during some big country-fest thing.  I wan't the biggest country music fan in the world, but I had THE BEST time there!  I just loved the scene, the nightlife, the people, etc.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!  Oh, we're going to be there the last wknd in March.

THANKS!!

Try the Sheraton or the Doubletree...I'm pretty sure there is a Hilton also...all of them should be walking distance to downtown. If you like seafood...there is Joe's Crabshack for eating..also Old Spagetti Factory...or I hear that the Melting Pot is absolutely amazing. All of these restaraunts are on or around 2nd Avenue which is where many bars and clubs are as well. All my girls and I are hitting downtown the last weekend in March as well for the bachelorette party :o)
It is for sure a fun place to party! Also McFaddens I believe lets brides in for free...they have a scavenger hunt thing that you can do as well :)
My advice is to make sure that you are dressed up with like the shirt...veil...all that kind of stuff cause you will most likely get free drinks and admission to all the places if you do!
    Hope this helps!

Hey - thanks so much for your reply - helps a ton!!  Wouldn't that be funny if we saw each other out?  I'll keep my eye out for another bride, lol ; )

If you haven't settled on a hotel yet, I stumbled across a deal a few days ago when I was looking for a place to stay on my wedding night before going to the airport the next day.  The Marriott's in town are having a "spend less and pay more in music city" special.  They have a couple of hotels downtown.  It's not advertised on travel sites like orbitz, you have to go to the hotel's webpage to find it.

If you're still looking for a place, a lot of hotels in the Vanderbilt area are a little cheaper than what you'll find downtown. The Embassy Suites at Vanderbilt has FREE happy hour every night and a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius. As far as bars, I highly recommend the Stage and Wild Horse for a true Nashville experience. My other personal faves are Paradise Park, Big Bang and Lonnies Western Room (karaoke bar)!
