Nashville budget wedding--need catering suggestions!

Hi all!

I'm definitely a Nashville bride on a budget--and I'm looking for a good caterer. Guest llist at about 140, and I'm wanting an afternoon Southern dessert/snack reception.  That means a candy buffet, veggies/fruits, deviled eggs, cheese/crackers, coffee/tea and of course our amazing wedding cake.

Any good ideas of caterers who work well with budget brides?

this is easy: go to Awesome Catering By George.

he's a friend of mine... catering my wedding too.  EXCELLENT food!  He helped to create the menu at Sportsman's Grille as well as the Gerst Haus here in Nashville.  I can tell you I've had just about everything he has made...not sure about his prices for your appetizers and stuff, but i can tell you that he's giving me an excellent deal and he is very easy to work with! :-)

Another awesome caterer is Down South Delights. The owner's name is Rita. We just did a tasting, and hired her on the spot! Definitely not your "so-so bland" wedding food! Her prices are very reasonable and she has been amazing to work with!
