Church Ceremony

I wonder if anyone can give me some insights how to handle the following situation.  I am going to get married @3:00PM and there is a wedding @1:00PM.  How do we handle the flower arrangements if they have any and the cleaning of the Church in preparation for ours.

Not sure we'll be of much help on here...I'd try one of the international boards for good advice. HTH

Unless they are having a full mass, most chapel ceremonies do not last longer than 45 minutes at most. I would make sure that you speak to the coordinator and they, in turn, speak to the bride who holds the 1:00 spot. She will need to have a firm 2:00 cut-off time so that you have adequate time to set up. I've been able to set up florals (as long as yours aren't too lavish) in about 45 minutes, tops. You may, as a humble budgetary suggestion.... want to see if she would like to share floral costs with you. I've seen it done about a dozen times, and never seen it go wrong. Just a thought...
But most importantly you must make sure that the previous bride has a signed contract or agreement stating she will be done with her ceremony and pictures by 2:00. Personally, if there is any way to move your ceremony time, I would do so now. Most weddings don't start immediately on time, take pictures afterwards, and you'll not want to worry about this on your special day.
Does your ceremony location usually book couples this closely together? Maybe they have experience in doing this type of thing, but I've only seen ceremonies be scheduled about three hours apart, just my experience (but that was coordination, not specific to one site). Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I hope you get what you need! Good Luck!
