Notary? Ordained? Need help!

OK it looks like due to FI and I not being able to take a 13 week sunday 9:30am class we might not be able to have my college ministry pastor perform our ceremony..I am still looking into this.

My mother is a notary but per law of some sort she can not perform a ceremony for US since I am her daughter

So now I am looking at someone being ordained online. So far I found amfellow.org and it shows a cost of $53

How do I find out that the website is legit? Anyone have this situation and have someone ordained? Also what is the rule about a family member doing it?

Universal Life Church (www.the>monastery.org) is more common for people to be ordained online. Check with your county clerk's office if someone ordained through there can be your officiant and if it can be a family member. Every state is different, so the county clerk's office is the best place to ask.
