Waiting to book the honeymoon?

MY Fi wants to wait until a trip the family is planning in June to look around and see where we want to take our smokey mt. honeymoon in october, then book it. Is this a good idea or should we do it now.

I feel like waiting would just be a bad idea. But i also want to get all the planning done, like yesterday.

Go ahead and book it! October is when the leaves change and it's always packed in the mountains during that time. I live like an hour away from Piegon Forge/ Gatlinburg, there are some really nice places up there. Are you going to try and get  a hotel or cabin?

we where looking in to home rental or cabins. We want to try and stay away from the "resort setting" where we are surrounded by 100 other cabins or something like that. Not that I have anything against resorts, we just want something a little more set apart, privet and relaxing. But still within decent driving distance to the fun stuff.

You would probably be fine either way, I would bet that you would still find a nice place closer to time, but you will definitely have more of a selection now.

I've used http://firesidechalets.com to book a cabin before and it was a good experience
