Out of town goodie bags

Hi ladies,

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy paper bags for our out of town guests?  Also any cool suggestions on what to put in those bags would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jessie

I bought my brown paper gift bags at michaels. They're 5.99 for 13 bags and if you use the 40% off coupon that's in the mail/newspaper they're only like 3.89. I looked all over for paper bags and this was the cheapest option.

These are some of the things we're putting in our bags, most of our out of town guests are from out of state so we went with sort of a tx theme:
    -personalized hot sauce
    -dr. pepper
-texas cookie (made by my neighbor - she makes beautiful cookies!)
    -a&m coaster
    -a&m golf tees
    -tx shaped crackers from heb
    -fajita seasoning
    -margarita taffy
    -water bottle
    -welcome letter

I bought some wedding stamps (wedding cake, heart, champagne glass, ring) a few quote stamps and an a&m stamp to stamp the outside of the bags. I stamped 26 of the bags this weekend and I think they look really cute!

I went to blue bell while in town on weekend. You have to call in advance, but you can get empty "wedding cake" ice cream containers (they are less than a dollar each)... thought it was cute also fits with a "texas" theme since they are a local company. Started gathering all  Texas stuff - free texas road maps (found a internet site - think it might have been TxDOT), Austin Nuts, Dr. Pepper in bottles. That is all that I have so far.

Dollar or 99 cent store may have bags. Party supply store would also carry bags.

    -map
    -information on the area
-thank you for attending/ welcome note
    -post card

Some people provide bottled water, snacks, aspirin, coozies, etc.

Ditto what the pps have said, and I'm also putting Tiff's Treats in mine as well.
