Rough Hollow

I'm a newbie and this is my first post! :)

Has anybody had a wedding or know of someone who has had a wedding at Rough Hollow Yacht Club in Lakeway?

I'm curious about reviews but can't seem to find much.

I can't decide on a venue and I'm going crazyyyyyy! Anybody else with the same problem?

    I havent seen a wedding there but my cousin was keeping their boat there for a while last year. The only thing I didnt like for their wedding set up (from the pics) was that you have a bunch of clients and guests running around the outskirts of where the ceremony takes place.

    Have you looked into Vintage Villas?

    I did visit there and my fiancé really, really liked it. I thought that the main reception area was broken up into two separate areas but were both on the small side to have seating and dancing together. The view was amazing though.

    anasta5272: We felt the same way about vintage villas - it was soo pretty but we didn't like the idea of being broken up into 2 rooms the whole night. We're getting married at Nature's Point in Lago Vista - have you looked there yet? We looked at about 8 venues and this was the last one we went to. We knew right away that's where we wanted to get married. It overlooks the lake and is beautiful!! You don't have to worry about people not at your wedding roaming around (like above post said about the yacht club). You should check out Nature's Point's website but the pictures really don't do it justince - it's just so beautiful!! They have an arbor where you can have your ceremony,a huge outside deck ( 2 levels) that can be used for ceremony, dinner, dancing - whatever, and they have a nice inside that you could use as a rain plan - or for dinner. They're really fleixble with how you want your wedding setup and Lindsay (the coordinator) is wonderful!!

    knsbride87 - I just checked out Natures Point......AWESOME! My fiance really loves the lake and I love elegance and it looks like these two combined! I think that I'm going to call tomorrow! Thank you so much!

    I agree that the pictures for Natures Point don't to the place justice. They need a major website redesign and much updated pictures.

    Is this someone's private property converted to a venue?? I've read a couple of reviews that people had to be shuttled to and from.

    They have a parking lot at the end of the road and they shuttle people to the venue It's a 1 lane road from the point where you park to the venue (you go by a couple of houses).
