hah ha. i got really attached to my dress fast too. i did lose a little interest but got right back on the ball...5 months is gonna fly by before you know it!!! do you have all venues booked already? i'm down to 3 months and cant believe how fast it went by! GL

Being 50something days out, my biggest advice is not to procrastinate. I started planning at exactly one year out from our date and kept telling myself I had plenty of time to get things done. I didn't do much for a few months and now that we are close to the date we have a million and one things to do and I am realizing that in order to get all the details together (that mean something to me) I should've put more time into them.

I agree! Dont procrastinate! I know it's easier said than done, but you will be kicking yourself later down the line if you continue to wait. I'm 5 months out and I have found something that needs to be done each week (even if it's something small). I started a spreadsheet in Excel to help me keep track of everything that is done and everything that Needs to be done. The "to do" list is WAY longer than the "finished" list. I feel overwhelmed, but I know if I dont do it no one else will. Start digging deeper into things that interest you and the things that you are set on having at your wedding and you will get excited again, I promise!

It's a phase! I went through the same down time.

I took a few weeks off, besides doing a few necessary things and then picked up on my own. It was a good break and nice to take a breather and think and talk about something non wedding related for a change. My fiance enjoyed the break too!
