Whole Foods/Central Market Catering

Has anyone chosen Whole Foods or Central Market as their caterers??
Just wondering if they are just as good as other caterers and comparably priced...they seem to have a great variety of selections and combinations!

i had whole foods cater my reception.  a friend of mine got married at the same venue a year before and she gave me 3 of her catering quotes from the list of preferred vendors for the venue to compare to (we both had about 150 guests).  price wise whole foods was almost exactly equal to the most reasonable quote she picked.  one of the other caterers was on par with food prices, but they required a lot more staff, which added something crazy like $3K onto the quote.  so in short, yes, i found whole foods comparably priced, i loved the selection and i was more than happy with their service and the food.  they provided a food manager who obviously was in charge of the food, but also a coordinator, who essentially ended up being my day of coordinator.  she organized everything from table set up to putting up my decorations to the schedule of the day to sending us home with food & bubbly (and packed all the leftover food to be delivered to our house as well).

I've heard nothing but excellent comments & reviews about Whole Foods Catering.

I'm not familiar with Central Market Catering, but had great experience with their Floral Department (Donna Foster) who did the flowers for my wedding.

Central Market catering is really yummy. :) I had them at a meeting that I attended before.

Whole Foods catered my coworker/officemate's wedding a couple of years ago. They just had heavy appetizers, but it was all delicious! She didn't have any complaints about the service, working with them, etc.

I got quotes from both Whole Foods Catering and the Pink Avocado for what was essentially the same menu.  Whole Foods was a whole lot more, and when I went into the tasting for the Pink Avocado the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE.  So to throw in a curveball, I'd go for the Pink Avocado instead!

It is just me, or does "pink avocado" sound kinda dirty?  ;)

I've also heard great things about them, but have no personal experience.
