Where to get marriage license?

Do we have to get our marriage license in the county we will be married in or can we get it anywhere in the state of Texas???

    I was told anywhere in Texas. If it has to be in the county, then we will be in trouble! LOL!

    You can get it anywhere in Texas - we got ours in Tarrant county, and were married in Travis county.
