hotel for wedding night?

Where did you guys book your wedding night?  I'm not really familiar with hotels in Austin so I need recs. I want something luxurious but worth it, if you know what I mean.  We're either flying or driving out the next day so it doesn't necessarily need to be by the airport.

My aunt just informed me as a wedding gift, she booked us two nights in a suite at the Four Seasons. I am beyond touched!! Before I heard about that, I was strongly considering the Hyatt on Town Lake.

http://www.hotelstcecilia.com/- Awesome place. $$$, but suite #1 or #4 I think would be worth it.  http://www.sanjosehotel.com/- sister property to above. Also very posh & the garden suites are nice. Property is amazing. My fave suite in a commercial type hotel would have to be the Governers suite at the Four Seasons. It has 4 semi-cirlce balconies off the main room - and it's just fabulous. I've also stayed at the cattle Barron's suite at the Driskill and it was pretty sweet.

We're staying at the Driskill. The room comes with our deal since we're getting married there, and we booked it for an extra day or two so we can veg out downtown. :)

we did the driskill, but it was because i'd always wanted to stay there above any other hotel in town.  I just loved the architecture and thought it looked so romantic and classy.  it was everything i had hoped for, but if you aren't completely gaga over it, like i was, there are probably just-as-good-and-slightly-cheaper rooms around town too.  stephen f austin, hyatt town lake, four seasons, radisson, hotel san jose, austin motel (might not be glamorous, but for the right couple, i'm sure it would be fab) would all be on my list to check out.

We stayed at the Hilton by the convention center.  We had a suite on the concierge level (free alcoholic beverages, drinks and snacks in the lounge).  The room was very spacious and they had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries (dairy-free b/c of my allergy!) waiting for us since it was our honeymoon.  So nice!

Thomps!  We're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn too!  We had a hotel block there, so they gave us the block rate, but guarantee an upgrade (I hope they didn't lie about that!  Guess I'll find out soon!)

I got a free night stay at the Four Seasons, so that's where we'll be. If I was spending the money, I'd definitely go with the Hotel St. Cecilia or Hotel San Jose. Always wanted to stay there. :)

I booked a bridal suite at the Driskill. We're staying in a pretty casual hotel for our honeymoon, so we wanted to go all out for the wedding night.
