How much was your postage for your invites??? How do you know how many stamps you are gonna need? And is it too early to buy stamps if im not sending them out till november?

You need to get an invitation together, with everything you're gonna be putting in the envelope.  Take them to the post office and get them weighed.  Alot of girls will take them to multiple post offices or get them weighed a couple of times before they buy stamps.  From there you will know if you are the regular 58 cent stamp (or whatever it is now) or if you are heavier.  Mine were 62 cents to send.  But, that was before the postage increase.  As soon as you know how much your invitation weighs, for sure it's okay to buy the stamps now.

I agree.  Put one together and get it weighed.  Mine were big beautiful square invitations that I was in love with, but cost me a dollar each.  So, def go get them weighed.  But, if they are ok, go ahead and get them, especially if there are stamps out that you like.  I don't think the cost of postage will go up by November.

A one-ounce letter is 44 cents now. I mailed mine during the 42 cent time and that's all mine required. I had a flat invitation and two flat inserts (postcard thickness). It shouldn't be too early to buy invitations. I think they only do the price hikes once a year in May.

If you're using the invites that are in your bio (square pocketfolds) then they are going to be at least $1.05 to mail.  Mine were oversized squares, and the ones we mailed after the rate hike were $1.05 (square surcharge, between 1-2 ounces, and oversize surcharge).  If your pocketfolds are rigid, they could cost even more.  Once you have a quote from the post office, mail a test invitation to yourself or a close friend.  There have been lots of stories on here about brides sending all their invites out, only to find out the post office employee was incorrect and all the invites were returned to sender.

OMG!!! I hope it doesn't cost that much to send. Shhheesshhh!!! I might have to do some test runs. Thankfully I'm going to hand deliver some.
