3 Weeks left!!! I need some help..

So it's about 3 weeks left and I'm starting to stress some. I've been pretty good this whole time but now it's happening. Anyway, for seating cards, do you put families on the same card or is each person on their own card? I had a billion more questions but now I can't remember them. AHHH!!

Don't worry! Everything will come together exactly as it should, I promise. If you are doing escort/table cards (assigning people to a TABLE, rather than a specific seat) I think it's fine to put families on one card. That's what we did, except when the families weren't all at the same table (we had a kids' table). But if you're doing PLACE cards (assigning people to a specific seat at that table) you'll need one for each person. Good luck and keep the questions coming!

If you are doing assigned seats you want one for each person. Assigned tables you could do one for each couple or family - that is if you are not having a plated dinner. If you are doing plated dinners it is easier to color code each escort card for the wait staff so they know what to serve each person. Also, if you want to see how many showed & who didn't, etc. you could do for each person, but I'm not sure what actual purpose that would serve unless you need some way of getting a head count. Our escort cards are part of the favor so regardless I have to do one for each person. But I'm also considering just making a seating chart like TheThomps did...since we are only assigning tables and not actual seats.

We did assigned tables, so I did one per family as long as they were at the same table.  If the kids were older, teens and up, I would give them their own card.  If I had a couple that had kids, I would list them as Joe + Jane Smith and family. You should also consider what your escort card table set up is going to be.  You may need to consolidate families on to one card just to save space, or if you have a huge table, it may look better to do one name per card.  Mine sat in square dishes that had split peas in them, so I didn't have a ton of space.  So, what your layout will be is definitely something to think about.  Here is a link to our coordinator's blog and she has a picture of what our escort table looked like:http://tinyurl.com/m9nyr3

I did mine by couple since I was assigning them to a table and then each kid had a separate one.
