Weekend checks anyone??

I went to visit my family this weekend. We got so much accomplished!!1. All DIY centerpieces purchased and half put together.2. Day of wedding timeline halfway hashed out.3. Saw a mock groom's cake and set up for groom's table.4. Organized and boxed together items for specific tables (guest book, memory, cake, etc...)5. Discussed reception decor and plans.What did yall get accomplished this weekend?

started collecting items to fill the BM personalized makeup bags.  Bath & Body works has a great sale right now!  That's really all I did this weekend, I was lame

Ditto Sozay...I went to the B&B Works Outlet and stocked up myself. You can get a heck of a deal on candles and mini body washes. My parents were also in town and they met the future inlaws Friday night. On Sunday, we went to the venue to meet with the caterer and coordinator to decide on set-up and timeline. Congrats on your checks!

We picked out the tuxes! Woo! And that was it. I SO need to get on the ball. I'm quickly running out of time. *#$&*#@$&^*@%

We got all of our save the date cards addressed and stamped, and put them in the mail this morning.  It's finally feeling real!

Wow, you were on a roll.We filmed half of our engagement video last night and will continue the project Friday night on S. Congress. Sadly, I think that's all we did. We're falling behind on our DIY projects. I'll need to get inspired and get some of those done. I already had my first wedding nightmare: all the details were missing! And zombies showed up. Sadly, the details missing scared me more.

We had our layout meeting at our venue. Got lots of questions answered, but also a whole lotta action items! Also purchased frames for family wedding pictures, ribbon, and a dress for my bridesmaids luncheon. Designed most of our guestbook with MyPublisher and will be finishing and ordering that soon!

I had a nightmare a while back where I showed up and realized I had forgotten to get my dress altered (and therefore the dress looked like a big white lacy bag on me), and there were NO flowers anywhere to be found. I was seriously distressed about it. That's not the only wedding nightmare I've had either... I hope I don't have any more of them! They suck! :P This weekend: 1. Had meeting with coordinator to hash out day-of timeline. (And consequently now I have a little to-do list... but a much smaller one than I anticipated. Yay!) 2. Went to my bridal shower! That's it. The rest of the time was filled with hanging out with family that had come in from out of town, getting a much needed haircut, packing, and buying a dining set off of craigslist. FI and I move this weekend!!! Ahhh!

Congrats on everyone's checks!!! We didn't really do anything this weekend. But we did send our deposit check for our Cake which I am super excited about :)I also got a call today from my dress shop in San Antonio saying my dress is scheduled to arrive on Monday. I'm am super stoked that I get to try on my real dress!
