Is your wedding around halloween? (probably a stupid question, I know).

Yep October 2, 2010. I was thinking of doing a corpse bride theme. Halloween happens to be one of my familys favorite holidays and I want it to be fun but elegant and classy at the same time.

Oh my Fi would totally love that! Such a cute idea. You would have to be ok if some people do not get you "vibe" and dress in costumes you don't like or change the feel of the night. I would love it but you might have to put a lot of trust in your friends in family!

My fiance thinks it would be fun to have it costume optional.

So the elegant and classy part might go out the window but at least it would be fun.

We did a halloween themed rehearsal dinner and had the best time. Our rd was actually 10/31 so we had it at the zilker park clubhouse and had everyone arrive in costumer. It was so much fun and everyone went all out even the older crowd. The best part was the city had fireworks that night and I always wanted fireworks at my wedding so the rd was close enough. Good Luck! Amy

What about one of those murder mystery dinners? I don't know much about them but I've heard from other people that they're a ton of fun

How fun!As for decor, I've seen tons of affordable but classy ideas for centerpieces and whatnot at marthastewart.com.
