tissue for invitations

For any of you brides that did DIY invitations, can you please let me know if you how you handled the tissue to put between layers in the envelope?  I am not sure where to get precut paper or if I need to get large sheets and take it somewhere to get it cut.  Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

most people don't use the tissue paper anymore.  it was originally done because the ink smudged on old fashioned invitations and the tradition kind of stuck around.  laser/inkjet, thermography, engraved, and press-printed invites nowadays are already dry before putting them together, so there's no need for something to soak up the extra ink.

Like Ms.Purdue said, the tissue paper is a thing of the past. Thank goodness, one less thing to worry about!
