Fredericksburg area vendors.

I am still searching for vendors in this area. Only couple I know recently that was married there did not recommend anyone they used. They got sick off the food and still havent recieved their pictures a YEAR later....anyone know any-caterersphotographersfloristshair/makeupI need A LOT of help :) LOL

    Where are you getting married? I have a cousin that got married at a vineyard in Fredericksburg. I did not attend   but my Aunt said it was awesome from local wine to the catering. I do know that they picked up the cake in Austin, but flowers and food were local and they were really happy.     We are getting married at his church, Holy Ghost Lutheran. And our reception is at Turner Hall.

    I'm pretty sure that you should be able to use any austin area photographers.  You may just have to pay for hotel room or something.  A lot of area photographers will do destination weddings.  Something to think about.

    Same with florists and hair/makeup - they will travel for a fee, but you wouldn't have to put them up in a hotel or anything. I think it might be your best bet to have a large # of vendors to choose from. GL

    My initial plan was to get married in Fredericksburg. I gave that up when I just couldn't find vendors. So, I suggest as said above: bring vendors from Austin that are willing to travel.  Also, there is ONE (maybe more, but one that I've seen) wedding planner for Fredericksburg.  She has a website I believe, just google wedding planner for Fredericksburg or Frederickburg weddings.     Thanks ladies. And Gladiola09, I met with that ONE wedding planner....her assistant is FI's crazy ex girlfriends best friend. It was extremely awkward and I will not have that psycho knowing anything about my wedding. She would show up and make a scene!!!! The day we brought our daughter home from the hospital she called and FI told her to never call again and she had the nerve to say "YOUR PICKING HER OVER ME?!?!" They broke up in 2003!! Weve been together for 2 years! UGH!

    Butterbean, Yeah, that would be absolutely uncomfortable, every minute of it, just knowing there's an ex lurking or knowing details about your celebration.  There must be other wedding vendors there! I mean, people do get married in F'burg! Good luck finding resources.
