Alterations?

Hey girlies. My skirt needs some alterations - nothing major. Mostly needs to be hemmed and bustled. I'm looking for a recommendations for someone who can do a quality job and won't cost a fortune. Thanks!

Classy Concepts and Alexia Gavela get recommended a lot here. I would try one of those. I plan to take mine to Classy Concepts, just because they've been really good about returning phone calls, and Alexia Gavela never called me back.

I got mine done at Nelda's Tailors. They were very quick and did a great job. I also think they were reasonably priced and the store was clean. They have 2 locations- 1 at Lamar and Airport and 1 in Pflugerville.

I'll second Nelda's.  I just dropped my dress off the other day, so I can't really vouch for the final result, but she was really easy to work with and very quick.  She showed me a couple different types of bustles and was great at listening to what I liked and didn't like.

You might check out Wong Long also. I have heard great things about her work and her pricing - I plan on taking a couple cocktail dresses to her before the wedding dress to test her work out personally.
