Weekend Plans and Checks?

So what is everyone up to this weekend & any new checks to report? I have a full Fri. & Sat. planned...my sister-in-law to be gets in today and we are doing lunch, pedis, dress shopping then she is going out with FI and his side of the wedding party tonite. Tomorrow is my BM luncheon and BM dress shopping (plus a little more for me to see if I can find the dress!) Then later dinner with some family friends and drinks downtown. Sunday I am hoping for Mexican Brunch then a whole lotta nothin! We booked the caterer this week - FI decided to go with Pink Avocado which I am happy about since they are pretty much 'full service'. After this weekend I will have a dress too, so mark two off the list for me come Monday!Yay!XO - have a great weekend ladies!

You are getting some big checks off of the list this weekend! I love Pink Avocado. They have been nothing to super easy to work with. We are finishing up the last of the orders for the boys' suits. I am going to try to work a little on the invitations and deciding on a florist.

Congrats Reddie! Those are some big checks!This isn't wedding related but my FI and I are buying a car together! We're doing the Cash for Clunkers thing. This will be our first major purchase together so I'm really excited!

New car sounds fun!! It's FI birthday tomorrow so this weekend is almost competely non-wedding and all about him!  We're going to dinner with a big group at Bucca di Beppo saturday and then (per his request) a bowling party

Tomorrow we're doing one of the Twogether in Texas classes. For the rest of the weekend, I plan to work on the ceremony wording, vows, etc. TGIF!

Good luck with the dress shopping, reddie! I saw the link you posted in the other thread... gorgeous dress! I was the same way though (obviously)... I had to let it stew and it took other dresses to make me realize I was in love with the other. Let us know what you pick! My only WR plan is to address STD envelopes tomorrow afternoon. NWR, I will be redecorating the guest bathroom and having lunch with my dad, step mom and grandparents on Sunday... which I am very excited about! I haven't seen them in a couple months.

About to go to the post office to mail off the invitations! FINALLY. I feel so behind the ball, but I swear, August crept up on me out of nowhere! Rest of the day is reserved for 1st birthday pool parties and FI's work party (tonight). Tomorrow, I need to get my butt moving and return some bridal shower stuff at Crate & Barrel and Bed, Bath and Beyond.  Ohhh, and address and send out the rehearsal dinner invites. I will be SO happy when all this mailing business is complete!

I've been working on finishing the invitations... my goal is to mail them by Friday... we'll see. If I'm a few days late, it'll still be ok. Work tonight, dance lesson tomorrow. Maybe I'll unpack some boxes in my spare time... still not completely settled into the new place.
