Hi ladies, A few of you might remember me - I'm the English Austinite (by blood I'll have you know!) who's been stalking around a year now, after helping a friend plan her wedding. So I just wanted to share that FFI (future FI lol) and I have been planning to visit Austin next summer but we didn't know when because the deal was we wanted to be engaged first so we could share the news with my grandmother, my Austin girlfriends and everyone at church, as well as scout a venue for a 2011 summer wedding. Well...FFI has recently told me that he has 400pounds saved (target 2000pounds for ring + wedding planning trip to Austin - not sure how much he's spending on which though and I'm happy to keep it that way) and he'd like to go in June!! I'm so stoked. To be fair, we're mostly going to go through the motions for fun of finding a venue as we have our heart set on an intimate wedding at the Four Seasons (he wants trees and water, I want hotel and central). We're gonna hire a car and check out Vintage Villas, Horseshoe Bay, and Villa Antonia, amongst others, just coz they're pretty. I have no idea whether he'll propose before we go, or while we're there or what but I can't wait. And I can't wait to get back to AUSTIN. We also want to have our engagements taken while we're there and I'm gonna go dress shopping with my grandmother because she was a seamstress and I'm the only girl in the family so it'll mean a lot to us both. Anyway, sorry about the AWing and the length of this post, I just had to share! Just wanted to let you Austin ladies know we're one step closer to descending on Austin with a bunch of Brits in summer 2011...watch out!!
