bachelorette party

so, i am looking for a good place to have a bachelorette party ( iknow its early but i dont really go out and absolutely clueless to the nightlife now), i dont want a strip club. just someplace fun where the girls can hang out, have a drink or two, dance and mingle....any good ideas where there wont be alot of young kids?? i'm kinda having the same problem! i use to go out a lot so i'm not really interested in doing the who sixth street, bar crawl thing, although that can be TONS of fun. my friends and i have just done that for the last 3 bach. parties. we will most like go to dinner somewhere nice, and possibly go dancing somewhere...but have not clue where?? any ideas?

has someone offered to host your bparty? I would wait and see if someone offers - then let them plan it. Planning your own bparty is not too heard of in my circle. I would let someone else plan it - if they offer.

for me, 2 of my BMs have offered to host the bachelorette party, but they wanted some input from me. that's typically how we do them.

mine was last weekend and we had SO much fun!! I had no idea what was planned but the girls hired "Ms. Sophie" to come and teach a strip tease/lap dance class. it was awesome and hilarious!! Highly recommend it. Plus you learn some skills for the honeymoon I can get the info of where they hired her through if anyone is interested.

Yeah, I didn't plan mine - but my girls did a great job! We did:-dinner at Chez Zee-show at Esther's Follies-out and about downtown (lots of time dancing at Spill, woo!)-stayed at hotel together downtown

thanks ladies... i will wait and see what happens, my MH and MOH's (i'm having 2) are in san antonio and not too familiar with here, but i'm hoping they do their research!!
