ceremony music

So, we have a DJ for the reception but I would really like live violin music for the ceremony. This is supposed to be in honor of my grandfather who is in and out of the hospital constantly and I know will not be able to attend the wedding. He made musical insturments and I would like the violinist to be able to play his violin. Does anyone have any recomendations for reliable ceremony player? I've thought about asking at my old university but I'm not sure how reliable they would be in the long run. Has anyone done this instead and had good/ bad results?

Divisi strings can set one up for you. They can be a bit pricier than some other strings in Austin but they are reliable, easy to work with (even have internet payment option) and sound great. Also may try Allandale quartet and there is a quartet that plays at Opals sometimes but I can't remember their name. They can play any type of music- not just typical chamber music.

Try Anima Strings... I went to high school with the first violinist. http://www.anima-strings.com/
