Another engagement photo question...Sorry!

I visit several wedding blogs and have found some engagement photos sessions that I love. Is it OK to send these to my photographer to give her some ideas on poses I like? Or is that weird? Thanks!

This varies from photog to photog.  Most professional photogs will probably have their own style, and you selected them based on that style, so they'll want to be able to use their own creative spin on your shoot.  If your photog does alot of urban, grungy, modern type poses, and then you send them a link with a bunch of really light, romantic, dreamy pictures, it's going to clash, you know?  however, if you just have a specific pose or location that you'd like, that should be 100% acceptable to tell your photog that you'd like to try for this shot if it will work out with all the other details.  another great way to do this is to look through your photog's gallery and find shots that he/she did that you really love.  that way you'll know that he/she can do that shot and it already fits in with their style.

I say of course you can!  I did for my photog - he said he would adapt to what ever we like.
