Last Petal?

Hi girls!  Sorry I haven't been around much anymore- we got a big lecture at work about our online presence, so the bio and blog had to go and the facebook went on a major lockdown.  :)Anyway, I'm getting ready to book a florist, and I've narrowed it down to two, one of which is Melanie with Last Petal.  It took a few weeks to get an appt set up because she kept rescheduling and it got a bit annoying, but the meeting went well and I really appreciated her detailed quote back.  I just want to know from former/current brides- the flakiness I experienced in trying to get an appt scheduled isn't indicative of her regular work, is it?  In her defense, it was almost always *because* she had a wedding coming up and wanted to put that first.  (Can't say I'd blame her!)  Her work is lovely, and she had some great ideas, but the flowers are SO important to me, I want to be 100% positive on this vendor!TIA!

I experienced the same thing prior to the wedding and was concerned because I felt she was flaky. Ultimately though, she was my favorite vendor because she did such an amazing job. I just don't think she is a great multi-tasker. We met with 4 or so florists, and she blew the others away. I totally recomend her!

I never really experienced any flakiness with her.  My wedding was fairly early in the summer, so maybe she wasn't very busy?  She was very responsive to emails especially the week before the wedding.  I really enjoyed working with her.

I 100% recommend Melanie.  She was great!  I wasn't the most demanding bride, so leading up to the wedding I didn't have a lot of interaction with her until maybe 3 weeks before the wedding.  At that time, we had to change center peice numbers, tweeked the mothers flowers and then added some totally different centerpeices for the head table.  I was contacting her every few days probably and she would get back to me either the same day or the next and was super flexible and had some great ideas for what I was adding.  She was AWESOME!  Definitely one of my favorite vendors.
