AW: OMG... just 1 month away!

I'm SOOOO excited, mostly because it's almost over. Just one more month and I won't have to think about cake, alterations, RSVPs, OOT guests, etc. I will be married to the man I love, and on my way to having a blast in Disney World. So, is this the part where I lose my mind? I feel like I still have a ton of stuff to do, though I am slowly crossing stuff off my to-do list (but I've added a few things too!). For those of you already married: what was on your to-do list the month before? ...I want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything! (Other brides-to-be... feel free to chime in on the reminders as well!) Thanks everyone! You have all been such a big help throughout the planning, and have definitely been some of the only people in my life that understand what it means to plan a wedding (most people really just don't get it). I'd be worse for the wear for sure if I hadn't had you girls on this board to talk to. :)

It's so exciting - I can't believe you are at ONE MONTH already. How did that happen? So I'm still in 7 month mindframe and have no suggestions on what to do at a month out - just wanted to be excited with you!

First girl, congrats on being one month away!! That's awesome-and rest assure this month will FLY by. For me the last month was the most running around. I had to secure the number of guests that were attending, finalize the menu because we were over about 40 people, finish all the small touches we had like spray letters we were hanging, and boxes...things like that. Finish all paper stuff. Work on OOT bags. Timeline. Basically everything I've put off because I knew would actually only take me an hour here and an hour there. Believe me, it will all come together. And if it doesn't, I guarantee you won't even remember until the wedding is over. Good luck!

Pretty much what jenny said. I left most of my DIY stuff for the last minute- programs, table cards, guest book, bar menus, buying more votives and small mirrors, OOT bags, pick up rings, get marriage license, must play and do not play lists, buy wine, transportation for wedding party (if you're doing this), timeline for wedding day/weekend... Also don't forget to relax and enjoy it! And remember all you really need for the marriage to be official is the license... and the rings... and something to wear... ha!

Congratulations! I have 10 days, and I've been working on last minute RSvPs, printing programs, and getting my DIY stuff together, FI still has to get his attendant gifts...that's my list...I'm sure there's more.
