FG & RB gifts..

What did you buy for your kiddos?? FGs are ages 8 and 2 and our RB will turn 3 right before the wedding. I've been looking around but can't really find anything I like.

My ring bearer was 3 and I bought him a Longhorn Mr. Potato head :-) My flower girls that were 6 and 5 I bought cute little purses with lip gloss and necklace and earrings to wear to the wedding. I had an honorary flower girl that was 2 and I bought her a build a bear with a wedding dress and veil on it and she LOOOVED it!

Kids really dont care about wedding themed gifts ( i was an FG several times, and an acolyte twice), so I am planning on getting them a gift similar to what I would give them for their birhtday, but mine will be 6 (RB) and 3 (FG). When i was about 5, my aunt gave me a pink fake pearl necklace for being her FG, and I still have it. it fits better as a bracelet now ;)So if you know the kids well, get them something they will enjoy, whether its wedding related or not. My RB will probably get some action figure related to whatever his fave movie is at the time.

I got a charm bracelet and one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books for my flower girl (she's 3).I also have a book for our ring bearer and I need to find him some sort of cool toy. Again, he is a young 'un.~Julie

My FG/baby sister got a super cute flower girl tote bag on etsy - (I wouldn't recommend this unless the girl is REALLY stoked about her 'FG' title like my baby sis was). The seller customized the dress sash and lettering colors to match our wedding.http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=15734265In there, I put a little DIY FG scrapbook that she can write in, add mementos from the day, etc. Again this is more "wedding"-y but she was way into it.I also gave her a small pearl necklace to match mine that she's always admired. I got it for pretty cheap on Amazon.
