Austin local for the budget consious..

I posted this on the Budget boards...which I shouldn't have because it's in a general area. I didn't notice anything here about it, so I thought I'd throw this out there. There is a beautiful free venue called Chapel Dulcinea. http://www.chapeldulcinea.org/They charge you a $100 cancellation fee..just incase..but you get it back if you want it, or you can chose to donate it. It's rustic, scenic..it is small..but it's a free beautiful venue. I wanted to share because I loved this place so much, however I live in Houston, and though it's not THAT far to drive...I knew my family would complain AND I knew that with those gorgeous rolling hill tops and railings...one of my rambunctious nephews would fall off somehow..haha. Anyway, hope this helps someone. If nothing else, it's a great locale to take pics and just go visit.

I was going to get married there, but my guest list got too big! It really is beautiful, but definitely only for VERY SMALL weddings.

I posted about this a while back because I read about it in the paper. The place is GORGEOUS! My guest list is too big (thanks to my lovely FMIL, ha) for a place like this but I would SO get married there if it wasn't.

This place is gorgeous, but sadly seems to have become very popular lately due to mentions in local media. If you check out their calendar on their website, they seem to be fully, totally, crazy booked for the next year. I mean, almost every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday night through Sept. 2010 is already taken! But, as fyrelle74 mentioned, could be a great place for pictures or a shoot.
