I am an April bride. Looking for reception area around the budget of 3000-3500 for rental. I am from Houston, but since I met my fiance at AUstin, therefore we are having our wedding reception in AUstin    I am looking for an wedding venue that has an dock for boat area. Due to my budget and time limit of going into Austin, I have not been able to find an venue. But as the day coming closer, I have become more anxious. I wonder any bride knows any lake house with dock would rent out for wedding. or lake property with a dock. As long it have a dock!!! HELP!!!! Thank you so much

i was looking at a few places similar to this. i'm not sure if it has a boat dock, but here is a place that does rent for weddings near the lake:http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p251362this place looks pretty cool, there might be a dock nearby for a boat.http://www.laketravisevents.com/they were both in your price range i believe. good luck!

i'm assuming you want to do a get-away or entrance with a boat?  does it need to be a gas-powered boat?  if not, you could maybe check into Shoreline Grill downtown.  There's a boat dock between Shoreline and 4 Seasons, but Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake doesn't allow gas powered boats.
