Rehearsal Dinner - Sampling Kindred Oaks Tonight

I am still on the hunt for "the" reception venue. I saw this while surfing this weekend. My mother and step father are going to check it out for me tonight. I would love to hear other brides thoughts about this venue. Anyway, for those that are in the early selection process - I thought you might want to know about this open house. We visited Kindred Oaks and it was beautiful but too rustic/country for what we wanted. The food was delish that we sampled during our visit and the people seemed really nice. They have a great 'rain plan' too. Good luck!

One of my bridesmaids got married there 2 years ago. Everything was beautiful and she had nothing but great things to say about it. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding and everything went off without a hitch. Good luck with the hunt!

My sister got married there in 2007 and it was wonderful.  The pictures turned out beautiful and there was plenty of room for 200 guests to roam around and dance.  The new patio they added on in 2007 really made a big difference.  If you like a "country-like" atmosphere, I would definitely go there.

L.O.V.E. Kindred Oaks!  Unfortunately they are out of my budget... One thing to keep in mind though is that their only reception place for more than like 25 people is outside.... so depending what time of year/day you have it, it could be hot and humid.... But otherwise, the place is GORGEOUS!
