Confetti During the Ceremony!

I was planning to make confetti programs, but wanted to know if it was ok to have confetti at the end of the ceremony...

any opinions, thoughts, ideas??

Thanks!

Re: Confetti During the Ceremony!

  • You need to check with your venue first.  Some places have restrictions on throwing things inside and outside the ceremony location.  If there are no restrictions, there is not a problem with doing confetti.  We walked out to a round of applause from our guests only.  No tossing of anything.

  • Check with your venue. If they do not allow anything to be thrown you could do bubbles or ribbon wands. We just walked out then guests immediately left for cocktail hour so we didn't do anything.

  • If your venue is cool with it, then you're left to decide if you want to find confetti in your cleavage, hair and elsewhere.  Good luck!
  • As a guest I'm not sure I'd be too thrilled, let alone that your venue probably won't allow it.
  • It is a program that has an envelope or pocket full of confetti that the guests can throw and B&G leave the ceremony.

  • I think the idea could be fun.  However, depending on your guests, it may not be the best idea.  For example, I don't see my great-aunt being real crazy about being near the front and having people behind her throwing confetti all over her.  But, if you don't think any guests will have a problem with it, go for it and have fun!
