INVIATIONS

Help Im not sure how to put in a inviation no children allowed. We are having our wedding in such a small place. I dont want to hurt anyones feelings. Because of this I feel like Im focused to have no flower girls also just to make it fair.

Are you using inner envelopes? If so, you should address them to whom ever you would like to attend. So instead of putting Paul, Laura, & Family, just put Paul & Laura. Etiquette dictates that only those addressed on the invites should attend. If you aren't using inner envelopes or feel like this won't get your point across, I've seen other people put adults only on their invitation. This gets your point across loud and clear although I don't think the etiquette followers agree with it. It's your wedding so do what you feel is necessary though :)

I agree with Ramsey. If I had an inner envelope and addresed it to John and Jane they probably would still bring their kid, so I tihnk putting Adults Only is ok.

If you don't want kids at your wedding, then you definitely need to put in somewhere on the invitation or on an insert.  I addressed many invitations to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and they would still put 5 people on their reply card.  It's easier to deal with it on the invitation, then later when people reply that their kids are coming.
