Has anyone used LucieMarie?

Hey All! Its been forever since I last posted..

Have any of you used LucieMarie for your hair and makeup? Their website looks great and I have chatted with Angela over e-mail and she seems really sweet, but I am just wondering if anyone has used them or if anyone has heard of them and can give me some sort of review before I book them!

I actually just got back from my hair and makeup trial with Angela! I had a GREAT experience and I am 100% confident about using her for the big day, I got the rec from ejayne and her pictures are crazy gorgeous. Here's a pic I snapped at home today right after the trial in case you'd like to see a sample of her work:

Oh yeah... I used them and they did a FANTASTIC job. Angela is a sweetheart and crazy good at what she does. I felt so beautiful the entire day, and everything help up throughout the night. Plus I liked that I didn't have to book separate vendors for hair and makeup.

I definitely recommend LucieMarie! Tell Angela Liz sent you!

I really appreciate y'alls feedback. I had Brizy Tait scheduled and she was making me feel really uncomfortable and i was starting to hear awful things about her. I just dont want to have to worry about things on my wedding day!!! haha. Thanks again I really appreciate it!

I was planning on using her for my hair and makeup and was really liking her up until the point when I sent in my contract. She told me my date was the same as another bride's and that she wouldn't be able to be there but could send assistants. This is after I asked if she was available for my day and she said she was. I just felt like my time was wasted corresponding with her for weeks and then she wasn't even available herself. She seems to do wonderful work but I felt like my time and energy had been wasted and now I'm back at square one.

I must be the outlier because everyone seems to really love her. I hope she is a great vendor for you.

I also didn't have the best experience.  I contacted Angela via e-mail and had a few good exchanges.  I asked her if she could do my makeup for my bridal shower as a trial before I booked and she said that she had a wedding that day but hadn't figured out what time they would be starting on the wedding party and would get back to me and let me know if she could fit me in.  I never heard from her, so a few days before my shower I emailed her again to follow up.  I still haven't heard back, and that was nearly two weeks ago.  I got someone else to do my makeup for my bridal shower and ended up booking her, but now I'm having second thoughts on her too.  I really hate flakiness, but it seems to be a flaw in many makeup artists.  Argh!

Wow, I'm really surprised. I never had any issues with Angela. Must be the holidays... they make everyone crazy.
