The Fountains in Lockhart has been Foreclosed Upon

So, The Fountains Wedding & Reception Hall in Lockhart is now in foreclosure.  The owner just sent out a form email saying, "Sorry, no wedding for you!"

This will put more brides than myself in a tough spot.  My wedding is on March 13, so the race is on to find a new venue.  No way to change dates as DJ, photographer, officiant, honeymoon, etc is already paid.

If you're booked there and didn't get the form email, heads up!!

    Where do you live? How far are you willing to travel, I have been on the hunt for a venue and have an extensive list of places? Do you get any refund of your deposit?

    That is horrible!!  I can suggest my venue, Reunion Ranch, but I don't know if it is available for your date.

    hi! I just started planning my wedding in ATX 2 weeks ago for a March 20th wedding. I dont know if you are trying ot stay around that area (Lockhart), but alot of Austin venues were booked for march. I got the last Saturday at my venue. 3/13 is the first weekend of SXSW here in Austin so prices are high...especially for hotels for any out of town guests. Im so sorry to hear but best to you on your search.

    We are now booked at Old Town Chapel in Leander.

    The owners are SOOO nice and helpful, and it is a good venue at a good price.  I definitely recommend it so far!!

    Hey girl, did you go to LHS?  Curious as your name sounds familliar - I live in Leander and Old Town Chapel is so great!  Who all is catering and all that?
