LOL.... overall the wedding I am speaking of was BORING and way too fancy. No one danced and everyone was GONE to afterparty within an hour of the 1st dance but we ate filet and chicken for our seated dinners.
SO on our way to the honeymoon room for the afterparty we stopped out in the courtyard of the hotel for a couple people to have a cig... Soon enough the guys were snickering among themselves. Us girls followed their line of view right up to the 2nd floor windows where not one but TWO rooms next to eachother each had nude women dancing in front of the windows with their partner/friends... oblivious to the audience below.
NWR but hilarious just the same!

Laliegh that is FANTASTIC story!!! I love it!!!

I think the craziest thing I have ever seen at a wedding was at my BF's wedding last month. She got married on a yacht in Clear Lake, and the boat was super cramped. In the middle of the reception, her completely conservative parents requested "I'm on a boat B#$%!" to be played. Then they started dirty dancing and singing it word for word to the song. I was mortified for my BF-- and had no idea that they even knew rap songs with explicit lyrics. Needless to say-- the photos do all the talking-- because it was all captured for the scrap books.

I haven't been to an out of the ordinary crazy wedding, but a co-worker of mine got married last year and her husband and all of his groomsmen were into heavy metal bands. For the ceremony they wore your typical tuxedo, but when the reception started, they took off their jacket and shirt, and underneathe they each were wearing  a t-shirt from a different heavy metal band. They walked around the rest of their night in their band shirt.

The DJ played heavy metal songs randomly through out the night (it was funny, but of course no one got up and danced during those songs!)

I went to a wedding several years ago where the bride and groom had uneven sides. Ok, that's fine, uneven sides isn't a huge deal.

But she had two people. He had EIGHT.

This wasn't really "crazy," but recently I was at a wedding where, just as we thought the ceremony was about to start and the bridal party would be marching down the aisle, the lights were dimmed and there was about a 10 minute photo slideshow of pictures of the bride growing up, then the groom, then the couple together.  I have seen this sort of slideshow many times at a rehearsal dinner, but not as part of a wedding ceremony.  It may be a new trend that I don't know about.  We are hoping to get married outdoors on Memorial Day weekend, so I don't imagine that our guests would enjoy sitting through a 10 minute slideshow in the Texas heat!

I was in a wedding many moons ago, my first wedding as a bridesmaid. The ceremony was held in a church. Instead of the bridal party walking down the middle of the aisle, we walked down the sides of the aisle. The BMs walked on the left side while the GMs walked on the right side. With very little room, I felt like I was crawling the wall.  No one was allowed to walk down the middle but the bride. This was 'crazy' to me maybe it was a family tradition but I never seen anything like that before.
