Early Review on Men's Wearhouse

Hey girls, our wedding isn't until May, but I've had such a positive experience that I just had to review it now.  We've been working with Men's Wearhouse to get suits, shirts and ties for fiance and his groomsmen.  I have nothing but great things to say about working with MW and specifically with Fabian at the La Frontera location (I-35 and 45 at RR/Austin border).  If you have yet to select the guys' clothing, I highly suggest you try to work with him.  All three times we've come in and worked with him, he's been very helpful and knowledgable - answering my dozens of questions, offering his opinion, listening to what we had to say.  We've really felt like he genuinely wanted to make sure fiance and his guys looked really sharp.

Also, MW frequently has great discounts.  We selected the suit with Fabian, and then waited a couple weeks until they were having a buy one, get one free on all their suits.  So a really nice $700 suit only cost each guy $350.  PLUS, as a MW member (it's free and I THINK you have to be one to get this deal), we received a $50 gift certificate for every $500 we spent.  So we bought all the suits at once and were mailed $200 in certificates!  We came back during another buy one, get one free event and put those toward the purchase of all 6 shirts and ties.

Fabian has also been great about coordinating the purchase...keeping track of the different sizes, ordering the needed sizes, and shipping them off to the groomsmen's local MW.  They've held onto the suits for more than a couple months until we're ready to go in for tailoring.

After we left there yesterday, having bought the shirts and ties, I told fiance that the picking out and purchasing of his and the GM clothing has by far been the easiest and most stress-free part of the wedding planning process.  And we're both so excited about how great they're going to look!

Hope that helps someone!

I'm glad you had a good experience with them.  I don't know if we received poor service because we were only looking to rent tuxes instead of buying suits, but we received terrible customer service at both the La Frontera and Barton Creek locations.  We ended up going to Al's Formal Wear for our rentals.  Maybe it's because we weren't buying or maybe we just caught sales people who weren't having a good day . . . not sure which, but it's good to know that they do have some good sales people there.
